Aloha everyone! Sorry for the absence, but I just returned from beautiful and sunny Hawaii for one of my good friend’s wedding. Although she got married in Oahu, we had to stop over in one of the neighboring islands. After having such a great experience last year, we decided to go back to Maui and discover other parts of the island that we didn’t have the time to see last time we were in town. However, there were some favorite spots that we had to revisit. One of which was Mama’s Fish House.
How can anyone resist a night out in New York City? The problem is New York can be expensive. So I want to bring you a perfect friday date night for under $50!
When I’m planning a trip, nothing excites me more than when a great eating spot is located near a main attraction. Often, it’s hard to find a great eatery next to a tourist attraction and all you are left with are “tourist traps”. BUT – sometimes you luck out and find what I like to call “the ideal itinerary.” And that’s exactly what I found in Rome.
I’m a big fan of simple and practical products. During a trip to Hong Kong, I discovered Muji and fell in love. It’s such a great store that hails from Japan and features everything from stationary to home goods to even clothing. Their style is simple, but Muji products are well made and utilitarian. Muji stores are relatively sparse in the US with locations only in NY and SF? So during my last trip up to NY, I knew I had to stop by and see what type of goodies they had.
I’m gearing up for an Italian vacation and I knew I had to get a replacement bag as my favorite travel bag has been thoroughly worn out :(. As sad I was – I realized this is a new opportunity to find a new travel bag!
